My Whole Expanse I Cannot See…

I formulate infinity stored deep inside of me…

On the TV

Category: Life

So, in about six hours I’ll be on Showtime’s TV version of This American Life.  It feels kind of surreal, during the filming that was exactly my life, but so much has changed since… it’s a little weird to watch the episode. I’m in such a state of flux, it’s odd seeing that me, frozen at that point in time.  I like to think I’m changing for the better.  I think I am, at least, I’m trying.

So if you’d spoken to us when we met you when you have sounded that much like Johnny Depp? Because, awesome!

    Oh, definitely!

I think it’s funny you have a disclosure in the email box (non sara visible). Not sure why, but it stuck me as funny.

Your episode was the first American Life I have ever seen. I was also on a reality show some time ago, and I can understand what you mean by that was just a whole different me. My life actually has been worse since then, but this year I am working on lots of changes. I know your computer is a real extension of you and communicating with the world. I hope this blog response greets you well. Thank you for sharing a part of yourself. It would be nice to know how life has changed for you since the taping. Feel free to respond…if not, take care!
    With Smiles,
    Rachel

I just saw you on American Life and found your blog. You rock! 😀

What’s your favorite WoW class? I love mages and priests the most. Most girls do, it seems.

Hmmm, probably Hunters, Warlocks and Priests. My main is a 70 Hunter.

I hope this post finds you well and in good spirits. I watched your episode of This American Life tonight with my wife, what an amazingly powerful piece of journalism. I was moved to tears by the end of the episode, but even more so after reading through your blog. Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying or take my last statement the wrong way. My tears come from a place of being amazed by you and your passion for living. I generally don’t feel very related to most people that I meet, and often wonder why it’s so difficult to meet creative and insightful people like you.

Thank you so much for sharing your life with us and for pushing aside any fear of feeling vulnerable to the world. You are a truly amazing person. I would be honored to have you as a friend.

I loved reading about your experience at the Radiohead show with Sara. My wife and I had the same experience at a Radiohead show recently as well. Maybe the four of us can go to a show together sometime. We live in San Francisco, California and I would like to extend an open invitation for you to visit us anytime.

I’m a songwriter who hasn’t felt very inspired to write music for the past 9 months, but getting to know you through your American Life episode and blog has given me new inspiration. I’ll be writing something new shortly thanks to you. I have two of the most recent songs I’ve written posted on Myspace if you care to take a listen. http://www.myspace.com/daynightday

    Thank you!
