Michael, Yesterday morning, while taking a shower and listening to National Public Radio, I heard a story about a diarist (a woman doctor who served on the North Vietnamese side during the Vietnam war) and thought of you.
The segment is just over 10 minutes long. Please listen to it, and don’t ever think about deleting your blog (and PLEASE back it up, for the sake of those who love you, and for the sake of posterity). You’re an extraordinary human being, you’ve gained insights few people possess, and you have the skill to communicate them. Don’t waste it.

I agree with Ed, don’t ever consider taking your blog down.
I too love you and your work, but unlike Ed, have never thought about you while taking a shower. :p –Sorry Ed, couldn’t help it.
There are lots of people out there who enjoy and benefit from your blog. No post is too small!
