Mind changed!
So, last night I went to see Gone Girl, and I just wasn’t enthused. I couldn’t have been more wrong, it was SPECTACULAR. I should have remembered, there are a very few directors who just don’t do bad movies. It’s a very short list, but nevertheless, the list does exist. David Fincher is absolutely toward the top of that list. I should have just seen Gone Girl… David Fincher, and been totally enthused. It was amazing.

Prepared for rejection
So, Tor.com opened for submissions today. I submitted a piece of zombie flash, I’ve mentioned it a few times. I’m prepared for rejection, the odds are definitely high enough, but I feel like if it really belongs anywhere it’s with Tor.
They’re probably typing my rejection right now… but maybe not.

Almost back… and The Brothers Cabal are with me!
I’m almost back. I rested today, I just feel weak. I’ll perk up tomorrow.
The Brothers Cabal by Jonathan L. Howard came out today, which helped my perking. I really love looking in on the life of Johannes Cabal every few years, just to make sure he hasn’t run afoul of some firing-squad, or lynch-mob, or some dark god so old and obscure that people forget to be afraid that such a being is watching… watching right now. Living life as a Necromancer of some little infamy, Cabal is more prepared than most to face such trials, but I still like knowing he’s okay. I’ll know soon enough, then post a review.

Tattoo night, maybe?
I go for a fresh trach tomorrow morning, really really really early. I think tonight, I might get a tattoo. We’ll see. It’s pouring outside just now.
