New York: The Beginning
So, right now, I’m in New York taking care of one of my Things to Do. I’m at the Fairfield Inn in Times Square, after a twenty-seven hour train ride. I’m going to write about everything, but not yet. For now, I’ll note that I’m with my assistant, Katherine, and my friend, Kim, and we’re staying in room 1407. 1407 is a lot like 1408, it’s astonishingly cold, the faucets run with blood, concierge calls to encourage suicide, but the door doesn’t lock from the outside. So, it’s still an evil fucking room, but we can leave whenever.
I wonder if I should try to post nightly, or just at the end of everything…

Have a good, safe trip. Enjoy yourself up there. And if you happen to run into Sam Jackson at the hotel, tell him I said hello.
Rachel: He sort of tried to talk us out of 1407, but then he just gave us a bottle of Mountain Dew and sent us up.
It sounds fn evil. How cool !
You guys enjoy.. can’t wait to hear more about the trip.

How cool … I’ll be checking your blog every day just in case you do post 🙂
Have a wicked fun time.
I hope you have a great time in the Center of the Universe. I don’t know how you feel about High Rennaissance art & architechture, but personally my favorite place to go in the city is the Cloisters. Itls part of the Metroploitan museum of art, but a lot of tourists don’t make it there because it’s way uptown. It also looks like a European Gothic monastery and is surrounded by a lovely park.
