Congratulations to you. A very good story. It is amazing what people deal with in everyday life. I think you both should write a book called,”So You Think You had a Bad Day?” with stories like that one and your experiences in the hospital. It would be very motivating.

Inspiring reading from Sara. I happened across your blog after watching TAL earlier this evening, Oh how I love technology, And it seems to me that this is another example of your god complex theory. I HATE MEDICAL DOCTORS!!! I myself have found most doctors to be useless at best and found myself shaking my head in disappointment at your previous posts. I think that they forget that even though they are getting paid the big bucks that in reality they are there to serve YOU. That while they may have gone through years of schooling in the end you (or I or anyone) know your body better than anyone and they need to take that into consideration. That although they may have answered that same question for 25 other patients you still need that answer explained to you in depth and with patience you would expect from a medical professional, without belittling you. Good luck with the battle, i do believe it’s a big one.

Sara’s article was great! I work for a charity that deals with adults/children/war veterans with amputations, so I know the difficulties that amputees face. Excellent article Sara! I’m passing it around the office!
