So… traches!
So, my last two posts were totally lame, I’m aware. I just got tired, started too late, and Bob’s your Uncle.
I’m tired right now. I got a new trach five-ish weeks ago, it was WAY better than the one before, but now it’s five-ish weeks and it’s time for a change. Basically, after enough weeks ANY tube gets germy and uncomfortable, and needs replaced with something fresh. Fortunately this tube was pretty good, so on Monday I’m just getting it replaced with a fresh one… nothing new and experimental. Still, right now, and for the last few days, it’s pretty uncomfortable. I cough easily, my throat burns, it’s just a bad scene. It’s hard to focus on anything when you’re breathing wrong. Your whole day is just trying to not think about how every breath feels like breathing through mud.
Of course, muddy breaths are definitely better than no breaths.
